Caring For The Local Environment

21 August 2024

At The Mill Shopping Centre, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on our local environment. As a proud member of the Re-Turn Ireland scheme, we’re constantly exploring new ways to support eco-friendly practices and encourage our community to join us in these efforts. From recycling initiatives to promoting green transportation, we are committed to creating a more sustainable future. Here's how we’re doing it:

Recycle your glass bottles at The mill shopping centre, Clondalkin

1. Onsite Glass Recycling

We understand the importance of proper waste disposal, which is why we provide convenient onsite glass recycling. Now, you can easily drop off your recyclable glass items while you shop, contributing to reducing waste in our community. The glass recycling units at The Mill Shopping Centre are located on the west side of the carpark just past Crystal Clean Carwash.

2. Bike Parking Stands

For those opting for an even greener mode of transportation, we have secure bike parking stands available. Cycling not only helps reduce traffic congestion and air pollution, but it’s also a healthy and cost-effective way to get around. We encourage our customers to take advantage of this eco-friendly option whenever possible.

3. Re-Turn Ireland Scheme

As a proud member of the Re-Turn Ireland scheme, we’re committed to reducing packaging waste and promoting recycling. This initiative helps divert waste from landfills and encourages more sustainable consumption habits. By supporting this program, we’re working towards a cleaner, greener Ireland.
